Chartered Accountant

Criteria for membership:

• Must hold an undergraduate degree or higher with a major in Accounting; and
• Must successfully complete the Chartered Accountants program
• Must have at least three (3) years' experience at senior level directly involved with accountancy or auditing
• Must attain the age of 21 years at the time of application
• Is a permanent citizen of Samoa as defined by the Immigration Act 1966 who must reside in Samoa at the time of application

Accounting Technician

Criteria for membership:

• Must hold a diploma (or higher) with a major in Accounting; and
• Must have at least ten (10) years of work experience which involves the preparation or auditing of financial statements; and
• Is of good character; and
• Is a permanent citizen of Samoa as defined by the Immigration Act 1966 who must reside in Samoa at the time of application

What your application must include

Application for membership shall include a detailed curriculum vitae with three (3) written references from your current and previous employers and any other information as the Council may direct. The written references must attest to the work experience criteria set out above.
