Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting for the Members of the Samoa Institute of Accountants for the year ended 31 December 2024 will be held at the Taumeasina Island Resort Conference centre on Friday, 28^th March 2025 at 3:00pm.

5. To receive and approve the Institute’s Audited Annual Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2024 and the Budget for 2025 financial year

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS PROGRAM 2025

The Samoa Institute of Accountants invites applications from those who are interested to undertake the Chartered Accountants (CA) Program. The CA Program is the professional examination that forms part of the prescribed qualifications to become a member of the Institute. The following Modules of the CA Program will be offered at the first semester which will commence in March 2024:

Advance Audit and Assurance

Eligibility Criteria for applicants:

APPLICATION FOR MEMBERSHIP AS ACCOUNTING TECHNICIAN (AT)

Applications are invited for membership as Accounting Technician with the Samoa Institute of Accountants (SIA). All applicants must ensure that they satisfy the following criteria for AT membership stipulated under section 47 (b) of the Rules of the Institute.

Must hold a Diploma with a major in Accounting; and
Has at least 10 years of work experience which involves preparation or auditing of financial statements; and
Is of good character; and
Is willing to abide by the Act, Rules and Code of Ethics of the Institute; and
Is a citizen or permanent resident of Samoa as defined by the Immigration Act 1966 who must reside in Samoa at the time of application.

Applications are invited for membership as Chartered Accountant of the Samoa Institute of Accountants (SIA). All applicants must ensure that they satisfy the criteria for membership stipulated under section 49 (b) of the Rules of the Institute:

Must hold an undergraduate degree or higher with a major in Accounting; and
